MEET
JACKIE
Jackie graduated from Rutgers University, where she received her Bachelor’s in Animal Science with a minor in Companion Animal Science. While attending college, she spent her free time teaching dog training group and private lessons at a local pet store.
After graduating, she worked as a dog and cat trainer the largest no-kill animal shelter in the United States, where she specialized in working with hard-to-handle dogs and cats.
Jackie then participated in a three-year apprenticeship program to become a certified Guide Dog Mobility Instructor where she has trained and placed countless service dogs for those with visual impairments. Additionally, she has worked with veterans and first responders by assisting in training and providing mobility and PTSD dogs to those in need. Realizing that she had a strong skillset working with service dogs, Jackie progressed to become the Apprentice Program Manager, where she would mentor new trainers to become certified Guide Dog Mobility Instructors.
Since 2018 Jackie began working in the private dog training sector helping to support local pet families and service dog applicants in the Metro Atlanta area and beyond through remote training sessions.
Jackie believes in maximizing positive reinforcement training techniques and loves to attend conferences to stay up to date on the latest trends and studies. She believes that training should be fun for not only the dog, but the whole family as well.
Jackie is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, a certification that requires hundreds of logged training hours and passing a comprehensive exam. Additionally, holds a certification as a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor, which involves completing a 3-year apprenticeship and a one-week experience under blind fold.
Jackie was born with the knowing that her mission on Earth was to help as many people and animals as possible, as she had an innate ability to connect and train with all different species from a young age. Early in life, Jackie began having profound unexplainable “supernatural phenomena” happen to her that she could not explain to others. What she didn’t realize then was that her psychic gifts were not something others experienced as well. As she grew up, these unexplainable psychic gifts began to develop further and in 2020 she began to explore them with more focus in her dog training profession and trickling over into the equine world supporting local practitioners with their equine massage clients.
Throughout her life Jackie has owned and worked with many different species of animals, including goats, chickens, cows, horses, rodents, birds, cats, and the list goes on and on. She currently shares her life with her pet cats and horse, a beautiful warmblood named Flynn.
Jackie currently blends her unique ability to communicate with animals and humans on a psychic/intuitive level with her extensive background in canine training to aide in bridging the communication gap between all species, here and beyond.
